Junior Receptionist
BBLC is seeking a part-time Junior Receptionist to join the team working on a Monday, 9.00am – 5.00pm, with the opportunity to increase hours and cover sick leave and holidays.
Balanced Bodies Lifestyle Clinic was founded 12 years ago and has grown to a well-established allied health clinic. They offer Exercise Physiology, Physiotherapy, Remedial Massage Therapy & Dietetics services for chronic and complex health conditions, general health and wellbeing, pregnancy and post-natal, and injury rehabilitation.
BBLC is spread across 2 locations, with the reception role being exclusively based at their main studio in Cremorne. You will be working with a group of dedicated health professionals to deliver outstanding patient-centred care by being the first point of contact and front-of-house for clients. It is their vision to inspire individuals to achieve their daily dose and plant SEEDS for their health.
About the Role
This is a Junior Receptionist position with responsibility for welcoming clients and booking appointments with our practitioners.
Reporting to the Clinic Director and Receptionist, key duties and responsibilities of the role will include:
- Welcoming clients to the clinic
- Answering phones, handling new enquiries and booking appointments
- Ensuring patients’ details are correctly recorded on Cliniko and TM2 and all patients have completed their registration and clinic consent form
- Accept payment and issue receipts using the Cliniko or TM2 practice system
- Assist in maintaining the overall appearance of the clinic by ensuring a high standard of cleanliness
- Notify the practice principal and therapy staff of any potential emergency and safety issues
This is a part-time position, working on a Monday, 9.00am – 5.00pm with the opportunity to increase hours. Remuneration will be commensurate with your qualifications, skills and experience (Junior rates may apply).

About You
They are seeking someone who is confident, organised and has a flair for communicating with everyone.
You will have a personal interest in health and wellbeing and although not essential, may have experience working in an allied health or medical practice.
To be successful in this role and part of their amazing team, you will need a passion for helping people and delivering exceptional customer service for their clients.
The Musts
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office including Outlook
- Proficient use of Google Workspace (Gmail and Google Drive)
- Excellent customer service skills and a friendly disposition (customer first mentality)
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Impeccable communication, and interpersonal skills
- Good understanding of Medicare and HICAPS processing
- Previous experience using Cliniko or TM2 a bonus
