About Bellarine Psychology
Bellarine Psychology are a well-established, multidisciplinary practice in Ocean Grove, known for their compassionate, child-centred work. Their team includes psychologists, counsellors, mental health social workers, an OT, and a speech pathologist, and they share their space with a paediatrician and audiologist — making true collaboration part of their everyday.
Bellarine Psychology spaces are warm, comfortable, and filled with everything you need: therapy tools, gold-standard assessment kits, a clinician library, and a genuinely lovely reception team that makes your days smoother. And yes — you can walk to the river from the clinic (Friday night drinks at the golf club are very much a thing).
The Role (Primary Focus)
Bellarine Psychology are primarily seeking psychologists with a strong passion and skillset in working with children, adolescents, and families. If you love:
- play-based and other creative models of work
- child-centred family focused therapy
- neurodiversity-affirming practice
- helping families feel seen, supported, and empowered
- working within a social model of disability
Bellarine Psychology would especially love to hear from psychologists with experience or an interest to develop their skills in neurodevelopmental assessment skills (autism, ADHD, learning disorders, cognition, FASD, PDA, OCD and more). You’ll have full access to assessment tools and excellent support to grow confidently in this space.
They are ALSO very open to applicants with special interest areas
While their primary need is child-focused, they also have growing demand for psychologists with interests such as:
- Addictions
- Personality disorders
- Couples and relationship therapy
- Complex adult mental health
If this is your passion, please reach out — they are absolutely open to shaping a role around your strengths.
They love clinicians who bring something unique, and their multidisciplinary environment means you’ll always find someone to collaborate with.
