Research & Development Design Engineer

Conflux Technology specialises in the use of metal additive manufacturing (AM) to achieve significant improvements in heat exchange applications. Their revolutionary heat exchange technology transforms product and system performance across aerospace, defence, energy, automotive and microelectronics industries.

Reporting to the Head of Research & Development, the Design Engineer will be instrumental in designing and building sophisticated test systems and equipment to evaluate additively manufactured heat exchangers. The role focuses on developing mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and/or thermal systems, requiring significant expertise in scoping, designing, and constructing testing solutions.

Candidates with a strong background in sensors, data acquisition, wiring, and programming of controllers and actuators will be highly valued. Additionally, the role involves procurement of test system components, and effective communication with stakeholders.

This is a full-time position with a competitive salary based on qualifications and experience. Some flexibility in hours may occasionally be required due to the nature of R&D projects and their global client base.
