This five-month online leadership training course is structured into five comprehensive modules, blending self-paced learning with interactive group webinars and optional follow-up sessions. The DISC assessment is a key component of the course, a powerful tool that provides insights into your behavioural style and how you interact with others. This includes a personalised one-on-one session to review your results at the start of the course. After the program, participants will receive a one-hour, individualized coaching session to further support their personal and professional development.
This course equips you with the essential skills to manage yourself and others effectively. The first two modules focus on self-management, helping participants refine their time management strategies, set personal boundaries, and better understand their communication and leadership styles. Through self-assessments like DISC, participants will gain insights into their personal approach and clarify the type of leader they aspire to become, distinguishing the roles of leadership versus management. These skills immediately apply to your professional life, enhancing your leadership capabilities.
In the latter modules, the focus shifts to managing others. Participants will learn how to build cohesive teams, understand team dynamics, and set clear expectations and boundaries. The course also addresses managing a multigenerational workforce, delegating tasks effectively, and providing clear instructions. Key skills like giving constructive feedback, holding team members accountable, and managing difficult behaviours and performance issues are emphasised. Participants will also gain confidence in handling difficult conversations, using case studies to practice real-world scenarios.
By the end of the course, participants will have developed a holistic set of leadership skills, enabling them to lead teams with clarity, confidence, and empathy. They will be prepared to navigate the complexities of both personal leadership and team management, fostering a productive and collaborative work environment.
