Running a small business means you face HR questions every day. From compliance to culture, tricky staff issues, and everything in between, sometimes what you need most is straight answers to the challenges you’re facing right now.
That’s why our final webinar of 2025 is different. When you register, you’ll be asked to submit the specific HR situations or questions you’d like guidance on. The more detail you give us (confidentially), the more tailored our answers can be. We’ll group submissions into themes and answer as many as we can during the session.
To give you an idea of the level of detail we’re looking for, here are some examples:
- How do I deal with a team member who constantly complains about every new change we implement, even when the changes are designed to improve the business?
- One of my employees keeps pushing for a promotion, but they don’t meet the performance standards for the role – how do I handle this without losing their motivation?
- What can I do if staff don’t respect me as a younger manager, and they dismiss my decisions?
- How should I approach conflict when a small clique of staff is excluding others, and it’s starting to affect morale?
- If an employee has a pattern of taking “sickies” around long weekends, what are my options to address this fairly and legally?
We encourage you to submit real situations you’re facing rather than broad topics, so we can give the most useful guidance. If we run out of time, we will make sure we get to it next year.
Looking Ahead to 2026
Some topics will be covered in depth in our 2026 webinar series, including:
- Difficult conversations
- Leave entitlements
- Training and development
- Employees vs contractors
If your question relates to these topics, we’ll make sure we explore it in much more detail next year.
This session will be informal, practical, and directly relevant to your business challenges. Bring your questions, your curiosity, and maybe even a glass of wine. We’ll wrap up the year by tackling the issues you care about most.
