About Me …

Originally from New Zealand, I began my career in HR as a Human Resources Assistant in hospitality (Hyatt Hotel), which inspired me to return to study. I graduated from The University of Canterbury in 1997 with a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Human Resources.

After graduating I moved into Recruitment before moving across to focus on generalist HR roles. I have been lucky in my career to work and live across international boundaries in New Zealand, Australia, and the United Kingdom, predominately in the Banking & Finance sector.

What I love about my job…

Following a career break, and a brief time as a Teacher’s Aide I am excited to have returned to the HR industry, supporting small businesses with their Recruitment & HR requirements. I love working with the Strawberry Seed team and being able to help clients with their challenges and triumphs in the sometime complex world of HR.

When I’m not at work…

We relocated to Torquay in 2018 having been avid visitors to the Surf Coast since 2003. I am blessed to live in beautiful Torquay with my husband, two children, two Huskies and a Ragdoll cat – so between the sand and pet hair the house is never spotless! We spend a lot of time at the beach, walking the huskies, cycling (road, gravel & mountain biking), all things children focused as well as enjoying as many concerts as possible.
